Stop the re-zoning to urban infill of Rosehill Golf Course and identify and protect important recreational areas such as golf courses

It would be such a shame to lose such a historic and well used golf course in such a beautiful area.

We continue to experience the demise and shabby handling of our iconic landmarks, i.e. the Guildford Hotel and now, potentially, the Rosehill Golf Club. Come on Colin, show some leadership and intervene! Stop these avaricious developers from destroying our heritage and our recreational opportunities. Without such quintessential amenities our communities become bland and lose their identities, evolving into urban sprawl.

This would only be a short term gain for a few people like the developers, in 15 years we will be in same situation as now. I say plan for 30 to 50 years, legislating to protect recreational areas for future generations, and have strict guidelines that urban infill should complement or enhance a suburb, not destroy its identity.

not considering natural open recreation areas, traffic and infrastructure management, schooling capacity, community "feel", just too many reasons for this to be axed. focus on the guildford hotel or any other actual derelict site rather than one that is perfect as is.

This development has the potential to disrupt the future operation and expansion of the airport therefore causing disruption to industries that rely on this service.
