Stop the re-zoning to urban infill of Rosehill Golf Course and identify and protect important recreational areas such as golf courses

I bought in Guildford for it rural setting. I understood back in 2012 that the state government had endorsed a ban on rezoning rural land to urban if it was near airports. The state government cannot do a back-flip now unless they are prepared to buy my house.

the state government has signed off on a ban on rezoning rural land near airports to urban on May 8, 2012. This rezoning cannot be allowed to happen. Swan council must purchase the land and maintain the rural value.

This green and historic area MUST be saved before it is lost forever.

There are so many reasons why the development is a bad idea. The developments can go elsewhere

I would like to see the golf course kept in its current form

Burswood 18 hole golf course : Gone. West Aviat 9 hole golf course Kalamunda Road : gone. Palm Grove Golf Comples Clayton Street Midland : gone. RoseHill 18 hole golf course under serious threat. Will somebody please show some understanding for the general public and prevent this illogical rezoning of Rural land to Urban which is under the Perth Airport flight path.

It appears Hazelmere and South Guildford could be another Brookdale in the making. Asphalt plants and Pyrolysis to poison the atmosphere. Sleep deprivation 24/7 generated by aircraft, trains and BGC. Now we are potententially losing a golf course and a means of exercise for our health and wellbeing. As for the EPA and our experience with them, they are a 'Non Event'.

we don'tneed more homes to take over the golf course, there isn't the infratstucture for it it will ruin the whole reason why people move to Guildford and surrounds

Save our golf course - I have played there since I was 15 (27 years). What a shame!!! Why take away our iconic recreational facility, especially as us middle to old aged people need such facilities. I will be most disappointed to see the Golf Course go.

Sad to see our beautiful land being destroyed and our wonderful animals and birdlife becoming homeless, all in the name of greed and money, has this not already happened enough in this world of ours.

It took many years to get this course up to scratch and now that it is, you want to close it??

Do not close the Rosehill Golf Course. It is a great feature of the South Guildford area.

I wish for the Rosehill Golf Course to continue to exist.

how in heavens sake is there any possibiity of developing a housing estate so close to the aircraft flight path. was this decision made with any thought. This is total madness

The loss of the Rosehill golf course will impact a lot of Senior golfers who play there on a weekly basis. Any development will impact the many species of birds that inhabit the golf course environment. Species that can be seen there regularly are...rainbow lorikeets, coots, ibis,spoonbills, pacific black ducks, wattle birds, kookaburras, twenty eight parrots, wagtails, magpie larks,grey butcher birds, white cockatoos, spotted turtle doves, magpies, galahs, brown honeyeaters, new holland honeyeaters, singing honey eaters.

Extremely disappointing!

Having already lost Burswood Golf Course its is important to preserve Rosehill Golf Course.

The golf course is one of the main attractions to live in south Guildford!
