As you may or may not know NYMA is in the process of deciding its fate. They may possibly sell to a large group of individuals who want to change the entire way of our village and town and possible create their own village on NYMA property. There was a meeting at munger cottage on Saturday from a group of NYMA alum who want to re vamp the whole school, get a new board of directors and save the school. They have asked we get 1000 signatures by Wednesday evening. Those signatures along with their re vamping business plan will be then presented to Donald Trump( former NYMA alum) who has agreed to meet with them Thursday morning. The group wanted to show that the town/village were just as interested in saving the school as they were. Lets show our support!!!!

The momentum behind this effort has moved past what I thought was possible for our small community. It has been an exhausting road to get this far but seeing this level of backing keeps me moving forward.

SAVE NYMA. Total disaster if they turn that land into some private compound for outsiders.

PLEASE keep the school open! my grandfather went there and it would be a shame to lose such a significant part of the community.

The alumni have a real plan and they deserve a shot. Dont let the corporate guys take over everything.

This place is a staple of our town, it cannot just be sold off to developers who dont care about the history here.
