City Zoning commissions need to honor the established zoning and not make these types of changes. Neighbors in the area purchased property understanding the land was protected. Changing that now to benefit a developers interests is plan wrong.

Was that the first thing you saw of all the signatures? I bet it was. Because it's the first thing you see when addressing any potential for building and development, regardless the size of open space. This is space that is vital to conservationism and the ecology of the area. Please take your $$$ glasses of and try to respect the land for a change. There are enough buildings. Norwalk is becoming more and more depersonalized, less a home, more just a property to park your belongings at for a short time. And I grew up in that wonderful community-feeling that was once Norwalk.

I moved to East Norwalk initially for its beach town feel. It would be a shame to lose that as well as lose PROTECTED wetlands.

Norwalk is being over developed and desperately needs its open space and conservation land to be left alone. In East Norwalk, the infrastructure cannot support more apartments and traffic.

Stop trying to destroy conserved areas with more overpriced apartments! There are way too many in the East Norwalk area now as it is. If I wanted to live in an area full of over priced apartments, I'd move to Harbor Point in Stamford!

There is absolutely no need for more apartments in my back yard. The traffic on 136 is unbearable now when the train comes in we cannot leave our street in under 20 minutes and it takes another 10 to get to the highway. Find another place to build Norwalk has been turned into an apartment wasteland. Pay attention Mayor Rilling and stop allowing builders to decimate our City for your personal gain. You will retire soon, we hope, leave here and leave us with your overdeveloped mess you clean.
