The developer has no regard for safety of the occupants and wants to get as many units as he can in a residential zone. He wants to take parking off the street so he can widen it. That puts a burden for the home owners that do not have a garage or a driveway. No where for the existing home owners to park.

I do not support modifying the conservation easement. It benefits only the developer not Norwalk residents, and it negatively impacts a conserved area that should remain conserved in perpetuity.

I oppose the building proposal by Charney and associates. I do not believe it will improve, but rather, will hinder, the old Saugatuck area of Westport and Norwalk, not to mention it will create unnecessary stress from traffic and train ridership.

As Westport already voted down this proposal, we ask that Norwalk do the same due to the size of this development and the added potential congestion.

Despite the good intentions of providing more affordable housing close to, but not IN Norwalk, this proposal raises more questions than answers about impacts to the environment, safety and traffic for East Norwalk. When communities work together on an approach, as Norwalk and Westport did, it should remain, unless the community says otherwise.

My wife and I strongly urge the City of Norwalk to not accept this developers request for this project This should be done to save the area and not place additional strain on the Norwalk or Westport communities
