I have been on levothyroxine which I could not take and also brand name synthroid for over 6 or 7 years and it is not treating my symptoms. Only keeping my TSH normal level but not the complete thyroid panel which show that the synthetic meds I have been on are not working in keeping my numbers normal. I have been on desiccated natural thyroid for about 3 weeks and can already tell my symptoms are improving.

I am in full support of having the FDA ban on natural thyroid medications fully and permanently lifted on behalf of those whose bodies cannot tolerate synthetic thyroid medications. I have been on Armour Thyroid natural medication for over 30 years with absolutely no negative side effects and it works absolutely perfectly!

Myself and my patients trust and have come to depend on dessicated thyroid preparations for well being. Patients and providers need to have a choice of different products for different constitutions. Not everyone can tolerated synthetic thyroid meds so options need to be available. Thyroid hormone is critical for longevity and wellness.

Have used Armour Thyroid successfully and w/o issue since 2009. Have sensitivities to many dyes, fillers, preservatives and have reacted severely to numerous medications. Managing histamine intolerance issues, Late Stage Lyme and possible MCAS. To take something that I tolerate well off market is incomprehensible.

Please reconsider banning the manufacturing of desiccated thyroid. I have used this for 10 years after trying synthetic medication and having poor results from using it as well as side effects. NP Thyroid is the only option I have taken that works. Without it, I am non functional. Please don't rob me of my life!

I am firmly against the FDA removing NDT medications from the US. Armour Thyroid is the only medication that has helped my hypothyroidism for the past 5+ years. I tried the synthetic options first, and they gave me severe side effects, so I cannot go back. Many are also allergic to the synthetic options. It is inhumane to force us to go untreated!
