God Bless America. In America we have access to tons of information and resources. We can walk into a hospital not having ID, money or health insurance in hand and still be admitted for treatment. We have options... health insurance, charity care and much more.   Today, I would like God to also Bless Trinidad & Tobago; that is where my mother Judy is from and lives. We just learned my mother has breast cancer.  Although the cancer itself does not discriminate, the options for treatment there do.  My family has to raise $8,000 USD, at which time Judy will be admitted to a medical facility where they will operate and cut out the cancer and then released the next day. Yes, you read it right she will be released to go home the next day all because in Trinidad she has to pay upfront thousands of dollars per day stay. Not to mention, although the Island is rapidly increasing in technology, it still does not possess the equipment necessary to rescan for traces of cancer after she receives chemo therapy. Judy is the mother of 3. My sister Charisse, our brother Damien, who serves the United States Army, & myself, Leslie-Ann.   Judy also has 3 grandchildren, Justin 12, Ariyana 10 and Elijah 6. We all live in the US.   Please help us by signing this petition to allow our Mom to enter the US for medical treatment and a fair chance to beat this disease that plagues so many young women with full lives ahead of them to live to the fullest.
