Retain the charm that has attracted many of us to this wonderful city. The tree-lined Midland Road has the history and charm reflecting the heritage of this area. It is this ambiance that sets us apart from the ever increasing intrusion of modernization for modernization's sake, turning a cold shoulder to the warmth of home, peace and solitude. There are no supportable benefits for the removal of these trees. There is only the irreplaceable loss for our city.

I would like to see the trees left alone. I think a traffic light at Midland and 22 would be helpful.

Do not cut down the trees!! Trees need to be trimmed back. People need to SLOW down. I lived off of Midland and drive on it everyday. There is no way people are doing 35 miles on that road. I've complained about this since I've moved here 2 years ago.

I often use Midland Rd. to destress after a hectic day. Would hate to see the beauty of this road destroyed. In 28 yrs. of driving on Midland, I have never seen an accident.

Leave. Midland Road alone. The most beautiful area in Moore county. If you need to spend money there are more important areas
