Do not destroy the beauty of Midland Road. I travel this road many times weekly and it isn't trees that are the problem - it is the speed of the drivers. Some more diligent police patrols could handle this.

If you want to reduce speed limit, fine. Trees do not jump out at people. Self-driving cars in future will help people avoid crashes with trees.

There is no better containment of excess speed than the aisle of gorgeous big trees along a road, like Midland Road provides. Trees-(Mother Nature), give us safety AND peace of mind. We need no more fast roads to kill ourselves on and want nothing to do with the DESTRUCTION of an historic byway. Please, leave Midland Road AS IS!

Do away with cell phones... not trees. They are the biggest reason for accidents.

Have driven this road at least 3 times per week for 17 years & never witnessed an accident scene.
There is NO justification for destruction of this beautiful and iconic stretch of road
