The entire country does NOT need to be an open highway wasteland just because the DOT can. Leave Midland Road and its park like atmosphere alone, pleae.

Make the speed limit 35 mph and patrol the road more often! Midland Road also needs signs that read "Left lane for passing only"

I live on this road and drive it from So Pines to Pinehurst almost every day. The issues are speed and people not paying attention....not the trees.

The beauty and uniqueness of this area is being destroyed by the over-development and destruction of our pine forests. Midland Road is a picturesque drive between Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Please preserve our beautiful trees.
