IF YOU CUT ALL THE TREES DOQN YOU WILL HAVE DRIVERS GOING WELL OVER ANY SPEED LIMIT...L AM ON THE ROAD EVERY DAY AN IT IS A TOTAL MINORITY OF PEPLE GOING THE SPEED LIMIT FROM SCHOOL BUSES TO WORK VEHICLES TO THE PUBLIC. LOOK AT MONTICELLO....THE LOWER SPPED LIMIT WORKS. WHY DO THEY NOT PUT THOSE MACHINES THAT CHECKS THE SPEED LIMIT AND THEN GIVE THE SPEEDERS SOME BIG FEES

This roadway beautifies the area. (One of the reasons tourists love the Sandhills). Trees help curb air pollution. Cutting down these trees is short-sighted at best.

I too think trees have nothing to do with accidents on Midland road..speed does. I have lived in this area for 30 years and not once has a tree threatened my survival.

Midland road was and is today the first impression to this unique area. The builders are sadly taking down more trees than needed to cut costs. Don’t take more trees!
