This project would cause too many traffic problems in the area and impact property values .

This is going to make Marple Township decline very badly if this development happens. More traffic which we do not need, it already is a mess which cannot handle any more traffic. More break ins for homes. WE are taking away vital land for the ozone and wild life. I agree if this zoning changes passes will only create more issues. I also agree with the list if the zoning changes do take place. Absolutely NO CHANGES!!!

too much development in the area!

I sit through three lights on Reed Road right now during my commute to work, what is it going to be like if this development is put in? Where are all the animals going to go if this land is developed? It is a disgrace! Marple councilmen are going to destroy this community!

Please don't destroy others habitats and bring chaos to our neighborhood

In the 26 years my husband and I have lived in Lawrence Park,we have observed many changes in the township. We were thrilled to see the creation of Veterans Memorial Park but sad to see the woods behind it developed. We witnessed the devastation of the fire on West Chester Pike and New Ardmore Avenue and were embarrassed by the eyesore that sat there for years. We have watched businesses come and go in the Lawrence Park Shopping Center and as the economy has taken a downturn,we have counted the many empty stores. The "corn stand" is a bank. The Pathmark stood empty and abandoned. And the wooded tract at West Chester Pike and 476, stripped of trees for development that did not occur? Our "Main Street" continues to be a hodgepodge of businesses,not conducive to foot traffic. And we are now building a "Town Center"!? Is this progress for our Community? Are these changes enhancing the livability, the viability, and the economy of our Township?

We travel from DE to Marple Township from time to time and the traffic is bad enough already. This will make our trips even more of a problem without easy access to 476 and I-95. There are enough shopping centers now. We don't need more and certainly don't need more that will cause this much disruption and traffic delays.

There's already two major developments that have languished for years in Marple / Newtown; I can't believe that there's talk about a third major development. Delaware County is already so massively over-congested, traffic is among the worst in the Commonwealth, and the last thing that Marple or Delco needs is yet another bloated development taking away the little precious greenspace remaining in the county.

As a leader of a nearby faith community, I have heard from people that do not want to see commercial development on this land. Preserved green space, or even a community-supported farm that can provide locally-grown food are some of the better ideas that I am confident can be achieved.

I live 1 mile from this site. Let's make it a local farm instead.

I live 1/2 block from this property & have zero desire to see it developed! We don't need it!

We do not need this. the traffic will be horrible. Who needs another big box store! NOT IN MARPLE, lets make it an open green space, I will volunteer to build it and maintain it

We do not need this monstrosity. What we need is the open space for our community, for our children and for the health of the environment, Global warming is here people, wake up!!!!

Who wants more crappy stores?

All of these commercial buildings would be terrible for my neighborhood. This is a quiet community and we don't want all your garbage and riff raff being brought in here. Thank you.

in lieu of revising current zoning focus should be on the retro fit and rehabilitation of existing under utilized and under occupied retail space
