Mr louv was a wonderful and caring teacher very passionate about his job when I had him as a teacher I always loved listening to his stories he mad class fun for his students and really helped you learn at your pace....

Louv was always an amazing teacher! Really has a way of making his students understand what he is saying in order to retain the information long term. He is a passionate caring man, who doesn't deserve to be belittled by FUHS. I hope everything that the community and past students are doing and saying reaches the board and is an eye opener. SAVE LOUV!!

Mr. Louv is a wonderful teacher who recognizes that kids won't learn from rote text books and generic curriculums. Removing him from the classroom will deprive so many students who won't otherwise receive the personal attention they require.

My daughter and one of my sons had Mr. Louv for a teacher during high school. I only heard the greatest of praise from them about Mr. Louv! He was a force of encouragement to many students, including my own. I have met and talked to Mr. Louv and was always impressed with his magnanimous and inspiring attitude toward students. As a fellow educator, I feel that our profession needs more teachers like Mr. Louv. I do not understand the seemingly shortsighted attitude of FUHS's administration in taking Mr. Louv out of the classroom to oversee independent study students. I honestly feel that students at FUHS would be better served by having Mr. Louv in the classroom where he can continue to inspire them and encourage the love of learning.

Mr. Louv was practically the only reason why I ever paid any attention in economics. Re-assigning him to independent study is an utterly foolish action.

Mr Louv was one of my favorite teachers while I went to Fortuna high school. I attended back in 1998 till 2001, and his history class was among my most memorable, and fulfilling. I sincerely hope Mr Louv is allwoed to stay in his position, and I truely believe it would be a great loss to not only the education of the students, but the community of Fortuna High. Although admitedly he was not the most organized, because of his class I was more interested and intrigued by the subject because of his passion, not only for history, but for teaching itself. That is a rare trait found in a teacher today. I hope you consider this before making any decision regarding transferring Mr Louv to a role outside of general teaching.

Mr. Louv was the best teacher I had at Fortuna High. I wasn't a great student in high school but I did learn a lot from Mr. Louv. The one thing I know about him and his teaching style is that he really cared about each of his students and wanted them to succeed. If that meant sitting down with them one on one or giving them the benefit of the doubt he would do it. I loved his class because you could tell he loved his job and loved to teach.

Screw fuhs, they get rid of the positives and bring out the negatives. Louv is an amazing teacher who gives a student support in more than just academics. Louv in no way deserves to be put on ISP duties.

Louv is an amazing teacher. Teaching is his passion, you can see it in his eyes. He wants every single one of his students to be the best they can be. He helped me so much my freshman year and I went to him for advice during my sophomore year. I'm graduated now, but I still hold the memories I made in his class and the advice he has given me. He is an amazing teacher. He helped me get to where I am now, so it's my turn to help him.
