Mr. Louv has a very effective teaching philosophy. His relatable conversational style of teaching allowed me to learn difficult subjects like economics and government, and retain the information to this day. He is a very positive influence on his students, encouraging them to be upstanding citizens of the community.

This has got to be the biggest mistake fuhs could possibly make mr. louv is a dam good teacher and has made a positive impact in the lives of countless students he has got to honestly be the teacher who if anything deserves teacher of the year.

I don't not think the school should lay off a teacher who cares so much about his students! He has also made an impact on not only the current high schoolers but even the ones who have already graduated. Best of luck Mr. Louv!

Louv encourages discussion of current events, gives informed analysis of the history he is employed to teach, and presents the facts to students in an engaging way. You know...like a social studies teacher is supposed to! He was my teacher in the 1999, and i have doubt he is still just as sharp as ever. Any allegations to the contrary are flat-out wrong! Let's see Louv return to his job as soon as possible!

I personally never had Louv as a teacher but always heard positive things about him and never did I ever hear that he was a bad teacher. I hope he stays!

Mr. Louv was my history teacher in 99-00 and 00-01. He was an amazing and caring teacher who worked hard to show us why history is so important. I loved his classes and because of his teaching style, I still recall much of what he taught! As a current teacher myself, this so no way to treat a veteran teacher who has so much knowledge and life experiences to share!

I saw kids ditch school all day long but come to Louvs class because he connected... and they learned! And I've never seen so many students of so many different abilities reached within one classroom. To loose him would be a devastation to the future of our community!

Mr. Louv is a great guy. By far my favorite teacher. Nobody in all my years of school taught like he did. He captured your interest and really tried to make you learn. Shame on whom ever thinks they can take such a powerful influence of knowledge away from the kids.
