Louv was a great teacher. Always made class interesting. Really cared about his students understanding what was being taught and was always there for help. Would be a terrible mistake for Fortuna high to remove him from his passion. Hard to find a teacher that cares about their students anymore. Louv always did. Great guy and teacher.

I was a student in Mr Louv's class for one school year. He always returned tests/quizzes by the date he said he would, unlike many other teachers. Units were completed with the material he said we would cover and his lessons were interactive. We had debates which he always facilitated well, no matter what the subject or who was overly passionate about something his classroom was always a safe place to share ideas. We completed group activities, class presentations, and had fun ways to remember material. I did not have a problem with grades and did well in history throughout high school, however I fondly remember his class. I did see how dedicated Mr. Louv was in making the material we covered understandable by all students and how he would go out of his way to help a student.

He was the only class my daughter would show up too when she stopped going too all of her classes. She loved him

The way he taught was the best way for most kids to learn. He had a way of making it stick. Our kids need to learn American history. They should be taught by one of the best.

mr louv is a great teacher who loves his students and is interested in everything and anything they have to say getting rid of him is a huge mistake he was my favorite teacher and to say he's disorganized and doesn't teach well you must be crazy let him keep his classroom and his teaching spot

Louv was an outstanding teacher. He helped me understand and learn to appreciate history and made it fun for everyone. Not only did he make it fun, he put history in a way where we could all understand it. And he had so much faith in every student that he had, if I failed a test, he would pull me aside and help me work out what I missed. It is rare for a teacher to do that. This really makes me truly sad that Fortuna High would make such a poor decision. Louv is one of the best teachers I have ever had.

Mr. louv was my daughters favorite teacher. He loves and cares for his students and Fortuna high is completely out of line for taking him out of the classroom.
