I drive 395 several times a year and I see alot of close calls through that section between Adelanto and Inyokern some thing does need to be done for the safety of all drviers.

Enough is enough! too many friends and family have lost their lives on this highway of death! Too much truck traffic, skiers, campers and motorcycles in a hurry to get where they're going. We need action NOW!

Please, let's make Blood Alley a priority, Cal Trans! 395 from Inyokern to I-15 needs to be your highest priority. People are literally dying for you to act.

There was no reason to remove the passing lanes that were there. The big rigs take up the existing ones because the want to pass each other. It’s ridiculous! I went last weekend and there were no less than 7 cars crossing the double yellow because they couldn’t wait. This needs to be fixed. At least bring back the passing lanes you stole!

Please please widen the road I used to be stationed in ridgecrest and had to drive to Rancho Cucamonga every weekend or every other weekend and saw so many accidents please fix it

Enough is enough!! How many lives have to be lost to see change? There is no price tag that could be worth the tragedy of losing a family. Our funds should be used to widen the road and save lives.

Every trip I take that requires taking 395 gives me anxiety. Just this passed weekend I drive to Ontario. Once on the way there and twice on the way back I experienced a vehicle passing me along with another car or two and a semi truck and almost getting in a head on collision with an oncoming vehicle simply because they were too impatient to wait for a passing lane. A couple of weeks ago I had to take another trip on 395 and while coming back into Ridgecrest a truck in front of me pulled pot to pass the semi we were following. The first time he wiped out and had to whip right back in because there was a car right there which I had seen very clearly. The second time he wipped out although there was a Jero coming that I knew was too close for him to make it around the semi in time, but this time he refused to pull back in and actually ran the Jeep off into the dirt. When I passed him, the Jeep was still sitting on the side of the road... in shock I presume. Everyone that drives this road knows fully where how dangerous it is. Why don’t the counties? Creating more non passing zones doesn’t help. It simply makes people even more impatient. At least start connecting the passing land section. Tortoise lives are not more important that our lives.

I too no longer drive on HWY 395 unless absolutely necessary. I have a coworker who had a head on collision and nearly lost his life. Every time I drive this road I see someone doing something blatantly dangerous. I would like to see changes for increased safety on this road to help save lives.
