Enough is Enough ! Four Lane Divide This Road Now ! No Excuses !

I have seen people pass on the right shoulder as well as close headons.

We have had many close calls!

It's a travesty that this highway ihas been a major hazard for so long.

Save lives with our tax dollars. Completely reconfigure this death trap roadway.

I have been a hotel manager along the 395 for the past 16 yrs. There have been several occasions where I have met the families of those affected in these tragic situations. I myself have come across and have stop to assist in one accident before 1st emergency responders had arrived. I've seen and heard enough. I stand and proudly sign this petition.

Something needs to be done with this road. Way too many loves have been lost! Widen the road, lower the speed limit, more lights, etc

The first time I remember someone who passed away from this road I was a young girl and the girl who died was a friends sister Chrissy Wells And I believe her boyfriend died aswell this was like late 70’s early 80’s this is just too many

Truly pathetic that San Bernardino County has made this road WORSE in recent years, rather than safer, by doing away with passing lanes. The majority of accidents are happening at double yellow line areas that have the area to allow a passing lane. Fix YOUR problem that you have created SB County...

This section of highway is very dangerous.

Hwy 395 is one of only 2 highways allowing access to Ridgecrest, Inyokern, NAWCWD, China Lake, CA and many other towns and tourist attractions like Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. The amount of traffic, both passenger and commercial is tremendous, and long stretches of two lanes with no passing allowed increases it's danger. This Highway is long overdue to be improved by adding more lanes and increasing the safety of a "killer" highway. Save Lives - widen Hwy 395!!!!!!

Desperately need a 4-lane divided 395 HWY!

Almost died on that road. It’s so dangerous.

Too many have lost loved ones or have been permanently injured at the hands of a reckless driver and unsafe driving conditions. Government officials and the Department of Transportation cannot continue to slap band-aids on this road. Rumble strips DO NOT WORK. We must stand together to demand more lanes, a road divider and an altogether safer highway!

We live this potential nightmare everytime we need to drive out of town to get to doctor's appointments for my elderly parents. We need dividers on this highway to stop people from passing and killing more innocent people.

I tried to avoid this road as much as possible. I really hope someone finds a solution to avoid more accidents in the future.

I support this petition100% and request that there be4 lane improvements to 395 from the15 freeway to Johannesburg. This is a very dangerous part of395 and too many lives have been lost.
