This road hasi used to drive this road in the 80s and 90s..nothing has changed in 30 years. So sad ..time has come to fix it and stop the madness....

I am a school bus driver. We use 395 all the time transporting teams to out of town games.. So many close calls. People have no regard for our bus full of kids. I have had to hit my brakes and head to the shoulder or the road ...... I just did 3 days in a row on that road....Had at least 30 cars passing on a double yellow one lane in each direction. You can't fix stupid !!!!!! But we can help by having 2 lanes in each direction..

This needs to be fixed! We have lost TOO MANY LOVED ONES!! People need to HAVE PATIENCE and SLOW DOWN! They are not only putting THEIR FAMILY at risk but OUR’S AS WELL!!

Too many lives list on 395. Not a day goes by I don't see an inconsiderate driver passing where they shouldn't. No reason to not have a 2 lanes in an open desert.

At one time residents of Kern and San Bernadino along 395 were promised 4 lanes. Instead the shoulders were widened and passing lanes taken out. Since then the death rate have increased. Where did the funding for four lanes go?

I've come too close to being a casualty on this morbid highway. Driving off the shoulder repeatedly in order to avoid head-on-collisions...FIX IT CALIFORNIA!

For decades this highway has been unsafe, death toll growing DAILY. It is widely used by Southern California drivers. Please stop de-prioritizing us. This highway needs to be fixed and rumble strips don’t cut it. We’ve had one for years and yet accident rate is rising even faster.
