The 395 IS a treacherous highway & I agree with this petition 100%! Get this highway safe. Add additional lanes, & road dividers, not just painted lines! I live up here in the High Desert & I always avoid this Highway. I am one of many that will travel other longer routes just to avoid this highway!

I was told they are in the process of building a new highway west of the current location. I can only hope it can accommodate more traffic safely. I hate to see more people get hurt. My husband travels this road every day to work

I really think 395 needs 6 lanes total with a center divider (3 on each side) from I-15 to Ridgecrest ! MINIMUM.

I lost my grand father, his wife my uncle and aunt in a deadly head on crash on 395. The loss is unbearable and very real.

This road needs more passing lanes but preferably needs to be a 4 lane hwy. It is a crapshoot driving this road hoping some idiot doesn't take you out.

I avoid hwy 385 as much as possible. My daughter, grandson, and I were nearly killed when our car stalled there two years ago. Please widen this road and save lives.

It’s so scary driving on the 395 as you can see people are are crazy for doing this especially at night.
