Highway 395 needs to be widened to a 4-lane road (2 lanes in each direction), with a concrete barrier at least three feet high dividing the northbound and southbound lanes. I have lost count of how many times my wife and I have been forced to drive onto the shoulder to avoid oncoming cars in my lane that were passing other cars, despite the double solid yellow lines dividing the lanes. There have been far too many fatal and serious accidents on this road for this to be kept as it is.

The legal passing lanes also need to be reviewed. In some cases, there is a dotted line (passing allowed) but it's approaching a hill or bend. It may be safe in one direction, but not in the other.

Something that has waited too long to be done. How many times has the road been worked on and the minimal costs it would have taken to also widen it enough for a second lane.

Please do something! My hubby and I have nearly been wiped out a few times. He drives the speed limit and it's not enough for these impatient maniacs. They flash their lights, honk their horns and drive way too close to the back of the car! Same goes on 66. They overtake you across 2 sets of double yellow lines, they don't care! Save our lives and make it 4 lanes!

My family has lost dearly beloved members due to these people being impatient. Please don’t make more families go through the traumas, the High Desert and all communities along side Blood Ally need this.
