I travel this highway frequently. It is a major route and needs safety improvements.

I drive this road frequently. Have seen unsafe, impatient drivers making very dangerous passing. Just Sunday morning about 10:30, it happened twice, and oncoming traffic almost ended up off the road.

My son and granddaughter both have had life threatening accidents on 395 about 10 years apart. Neither was at fault.

I'm for improving safety on this road by providing more lanes and concrete medians,because they're too many head on collisions on this highway.

This road is hell and is a white knuckle drive just to get out of Adelanto. Fix that damn issue

If for no other reason, there is the top research and development naval base in the country at China Lake and so many employees have to drive 395 to their off-site work projects. So many have been seriously injured or killed.
I have been watching this for over 38 yrs. Recent " improvements" have made it worse. Is anyone listening?!

There should be at the least 2 lines for either direction of traffic.

I have traveled this road for over 30 years and have been witness to or partially involved in a couple of the accidents that occur on this stretch of road. There is NO reason that this road should not have been made divided, four lane years ago. Stop the unnecessary death of innocent victims.

I am from Ridgecrest and go to school in southern Cali. Driving this way would get me home so much sooner but the road is so dangerous that I add an hour to my commute to go all the way around! It is ridiculous how unsafe this road is. Please add more lanes!!!

My husband was killed on this road by a woman passing two cars on a double yellow. I don’t want anyone else to know this pain
