Very dangerous road.

We use this highway often and we have seen several bad accidents and hundreds of near misses. Must stop now.

I traveled that same 395 as a child as we traveled to Northern CA every year. That was in the 40's & 50's & it wasn't safe then and certainly isn't in this day & age.

Two of my daughters and their husband/boyfriend were hit head on by someone trying to pass an 18 wheeler. Unfortunately, that young driver died at the scene. Although our car rolled and landed on its side and by the Grace of God, my kids survived with broken bones and internal injuries but their lives have been changed forever. Something needs to be done to make Hwy 395 safer.

Two of my friends died on 395 in separate incidents and I've seen 3 fatalities on this road. It was called blood alley back in the 90's.

My daddy was killed on this highway last Monday December 10th at 7:00pm, if we fix this road maybe we can save lives.

This road has been dangerous for over 50 years. The 29 miles from Kramer junction to Adelanto is the most dangerous and longest 29 miles you will ever drive .

The problem is the impatient, reckless, speeding drivers. Increased police presence and higher fines will change these behaviors and save lives. Remember: people kill people through their behavior. Not vehicles, not roads, it is people.

This is for the memory of Aimee White, who died at age 15 when she, her sister and future brother in-law were struck head on in the southern stretch of Highway 395. I recently traveled the central stretch of the highway and noticed how the north and south lanes are divided by a piece of land. This layout needs to be added to the southern portion, it will saves many lives and prevent avoidable carnage. How many more lives need to be devestated by poor infrastructure that could easliy be widened?!

My husband’s brother was killed on 11/24/18 near Randsburg when a motorcycle drifted into his lane and hit his car head on. The passenger who survived said that a group of motorcycles were weaving in and out of traffic to pass right before the fatal impact.
