The Leonia Planning Board finally folded and scrapped this disaster of a project. This victory belongs to every one of you who refused to let developers trample our residential character. Stay vigilant because we have to keep watching these people to ensure they get the message loud and clear.

Final supporters
We believe that the granting of eight variances for a single lot constitutes "spot zoning," and as the applicant has testified that they will not be constructing a building that will serve any purpose qualifying as "inherently beneficial," approving such an application is illegal.
We further believe that the granting of this application is contrary to the zoning that defines the Borough of Leonia's residential character, and sets a precedent that will ultimately result in the loss of that character.
We urge the members of the Leonia Planning Board to vote against the memorializing resolution for this application when it is presented to the Board. If the Planning Board does approve the application, we urge the Leonia Mayor and Council to reverse the decision and reject the application when the matter is appealed to the Leonia Mayor and Council.

This building is way too big for that spot. It will ruin the whole neighborhood feel. Hope the board listens to us.
My wife and I are both against this. Why are they trying to bypass the zoning regs anyway? Doesn't seem right.
KEEP LEONIA RESIDENTIAL!!!! 37 units is insane for that small lot. traffic is bad enough already without this.
Please remember that EVERY eligible adult in a household may and should sign the petition -- spouse, partner, mother-in-law, 18-year-old son -- every signature matters. Thank you!
