Kenmore has been co-existing just fine for years with the boating community on Lake Union. This is public waterways not Kenmore's private playground to profit off of.

Lake Union is a great public space that should not be taken over by private business. I live and boat on the lake and do not want to see it taken over by a private business.

DON'T PRIVATISE LAKE UNION. Allowing a private charter flight company to monopolize a huge chunk of the lake means Seattle citizens can't effectively swim or sail on the lake. It is the heart of our city, don't sell it to the highest bidder. Don't give our lake to tourists.

Kenmore Air started a business on a lake already heavily used by commercial and recreational boaters. They knew the constraints then and should not be allowed to essentially appropriate the lake for their sole use.

If this goes through it wont just be Kenmore Air other float plane companies will come and make it dangerous to live on the lake

I live in my boat on South Lake Union. I’m on the Lake everyday and have been for many years. At present the seaplanes on the lake are an interesting feature of the lakes allure, but they must not be allowed to take over the lake for commercial purposes, please keep Lake Union open and free for all to use, especially recreational boaters and events like Duck Dodge which add great character to our city!!

They have a working run way
BUT the kayak SUP and rental boats NEED to pay attention and not enter the runway space and just sit there.
This is the main reason they are wanting a dedicated strip of off limits water
