I love floatplanes, and I want them to be part of the city environment, but NOT to the exclusion of other uses of Lake Union and certainly not by some secretive process.

I'm a sailor who frequently sales Lake Union. Lake Union is too busy as well to have a designated runway for sea planes. In addition, the additional noice would be tiresome to listen to for boaters and homeowners.

This move by Kenmore air is unacceptable and immoral. It’s no different than appropriating a public park for commercial use and banning the general public from using the commons.

I work from home in Eastlake and have to mute myself on important calls constantly. Lake Union is absolutely not the place for a large commercial airline operation. If that is Kenmore’s goal, perhaps they should move their main operation to a larger body of water like say the Kenmore area of Lake Washington.

I have called in many complaints about their noise pollution, I guess we have to share this lake with all but there should be a noise limit and ordinance, thaking 1.2 million sq feet for an off limits,,, and what is this? "OFF LIMITS?" why do they think they can basically own a section of Lake Union,

This is one of the most ridiculous ideas I have heard. It would ruin Duck Dodge and the view for those that live in the area, not to mention where the heck is the fireworks display supposed to go?? This is a community resource NOT a corporate one.

A public lake should be used as recreation for the public, not to benefit the pockets books of one company. This sounds like another greedy corporate initiative to take away amour public right of way.
