I like Kenmore Air and I have flown with them. But, this is a public lake used by all citizens of Seattle and should not be for commercial enterprise. I am OK with sharing the lake but they should not be allowed an rights beyond those of the people of Seattle.

I work in SLU and having more planes coming in/out would make the noise levels in the area impossible.

I support opening this up to a public forum. The lake should be open to all but I also respect the Sea Planes desire for a safer runway.

As an owner of a floating home in Eastlake I’m OK with sharing Lake Union - NOT privatizing it at the expense of Seattle’s residents.

I too live in Seattle and enjoy watching and listening to seaplanes like many other people in Seattle. Furthermore, there is a lot of misleading information in this post. The purpose of this effort is not to increase the number of landings, but to enhance safety and to facilitate operations on busy days. I don't understand comments like "we must protect public places from the takeover of businesses." Kenmore Air is a Seattle company owned by Seattleites, run by Seattleites, employing Seattleites and servicing Seattleites.

Lake Union is already crowded enough. We should not allow sea planes to expand their footprint any more than what exists today.

Please save the lake union. I love boating and kayaking especially during summer time along with many other Seattleites. Dedicating the runway land will take away a significant part of this facility from residents.
