I am a property owner on Lake Union and believe that open hearings and an impact study must take place before any decisions are made about regulating Lake Union access. Thank you,

Seaplanes were here when I bought property but Lake Union was a public access lake when Kenmore Air moved in. They can continue to adjust to lake traffic like everyone else.

We're on a South Lake Union near Gasworks Park and the prop wash and exhaust from planes taking off makes the air unbreathable when they take off in front of our docks. It tend to go directly into our hatch airflow intake an think it's pushed our carbon monoxide sensor up. We've learned to live with the increase of runway noise but not being able to breath and the asthma attack it bring on is just too much.

The lake is a treasure and no business has the right to lock the rest of the city out of it.

I live on Lake Union an boat on Lake Union. This proposal not only affects noise levels around my home but my ability to enjoy boating on the lake. Why are we considering this for the profit of two companies while disenfranchising many citizens and tourists? It also seems like planes are often NOT in that box for take offs and landings based on wind direction??

No runway! Lake Union needs to remain a shared natural resource for the entire community not a commercial runway.

No runway. The current seaplane presence is acceptable, but any significant increase is not. SLU has so many active stakeholders that a plan favoring two companies is unjustifiable. Please keep up the advocacy pressure and keep us informed about ways to help. Thanks!

I live and boat on Lake Union. The lake should remain as something public for all to share, not be chunked off to business interests. The planes already take off and land fine.

I have loved the sea planes...but this volume would be way over the top - excessive to the point of unsustainability.

Kenmore Air has operated for years without a formal runway. There should be no reason that can't continue while allowing people to enjoy all of Lake Union.

Our lake is such a great part of our city, please don't turn it into space that's usually reserved for warehouses around an airport.

No runway! Keep Lake Union (completely) open to all types of recreation, especially human-powered! The water belongs to everyone, not 1 or 2 seaplane airlines.

Surely there can be a compromise and ways to make the lake work for both Kenmore and recreational users?!!

As a tax paying, Seattle citizen, water sport lover, and frequent user of SLU I would hate to see Lake Union be turned into a commercial runway. I would also hate to see the detrimental effects to our marine life by adding harmful pollutants to the water.

Sea plane density and noise pollution is already a problem for my neighborhood. Planes start as early as 5 am and interfere with sleep and comfortable enjoyment of outdoor spaces (low flight paths around Lakes Washington and Union). Don't normalize and compress to allow for congested density!
