The stories parents have shared about the impact of the Islandwood program confirm why this experience is essential for our children. I am currently working to organize the feedback so we can present a clear case to the administration regarding the value of this field trip.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me that the community truly values these outdoor learning experiences for our children. It confirms that the importance of this trip reaches far beyond my own household.

These kids deserve to get outside and actually learn something hands on. Ridiculous that they are even considering cutting this.
Keep the islandwood trip. It is literally the highlight of 5th grade.
I was looking forward to my daughter going next year. Dont cancel it now.
My oldest went on this trip a few years ago and still talks about it. Please dont take this experience away from the kids.
Islandwood is the best. Stop cutting the budget where it actually matters for these kids education.

FUND THE TRIP. Science is way better in the woods than in a stuffy classroom.
These kids deserve to get outside and actually learn something hands on. Ridiculous that they are even considering cutting this.
