The JMU IM Marsh is in the heart of the community, the facilities are used by students and residents alike. The Campus, we believe should not be sold and built on but be kept for educational purposes and for use by local residents. The loss of the Campus will have a negative effect on the area and the facilities on offer for students and residents. We call on the VC of JMU to change policy on this matter as a matter of urgency and to stop the closure of the pool planned for Aug 2011.
