This affects our family members. No way, don't do it.

Surely there's a less expensive and less aggressive way to achieve safety goals and widen 174 where needed.

This proposal is not warranted. There is not the accident history that is claimed. It has been a lovely, scenic and safe drive for me for 15 years.

Just drove to Colfax and back yesterday and saw the flagged trees - this makes no sense. This is a beautiful winding road and it needs to remain so.

I live two houses up from Hwy 174 near Union Hill School - I LOVE driving to Roseville on 174 and do NOT want it to be any less curvy or tree-lined!

I drive 174 everyday and do see the need to widen the road. Please save our HWY from this project.

Think the money would be better spent on hwy 49. Don't see a need to widen that hwy

How about some stop signs, stoplights, speed bumps? You can't control all peoples irresponsibility or stupidity!

Our home is one of the houses affected by this travesty of ill thought out action. We live on a short straight stretch and without the added width people race!

I drive 174 nearly every day & also the 49. I believe $ could be better spent on the 'more deadly' highway.. I do not support such tree removal & removal of additional private property.

This is just awful. We need the trees
