I have lived out you bet for 39 years and driven the speed limit on 174 without a problem . More highway patrol is the answer!!!!!!!

As a resident of Colfax, I frequently drive 174 to Grass Valley and Nevada. I oppose the proposed Caltrans project and urge that alternatives be explored.

People go slower with curves. 49 is straight and wide, and is the most dangerous highway in Placer and Nevada Counties!
