We need to stop taking jobs away from hard working people just so that “cheaper labor” can be had. These people devote their time and energy to the schools and to the children that attend them.

What better way to help promote a community than keep those employees close to home nd who have been caring for the children this whole time.

These sorts of moves end up reducing the quality of the service. Once the infrastructure of providing meals is gone the school system will inevitably be charged more and more, and will be unable to "go back".

These devoted cafeteria workers are saving the town of Ellington money, while providing healthy and nutritious meals to students and staff.

Please do not outsource. The schools in Farmington did this and they ended up on national media for the disgusting food they were given and the horrible way they were treated by the people that worked there. Their food should be made by someone who cares about them.

Please save these local jobs, for the benefit of caring workers, and benefit of the students.

As a grandparent, food service employees are a definite part of the educational community!
