It is a really beautiful park and I like hanging out there. We don't need fields there.

Keep this park a park, not an athletic complex is expensive and loud

I have used that park my whole life, brought my children there, and now my grandchildren. This would be a sin to put Doherty there Doesn’t belong at Duffy Field Belongs on Newton Hill

I think a better alternative would be to take space from Newton Hill. I know there will be a lot of pushback but the hill as it is today is not a welcoming place. Putting a high school football field in a residential neighborhood is not in the best interest of the residents.

I'm growing tired of the City Coucilors and their pal Eddy making short term decisions that will affect my city and my home for decades to come. When we have the opportunity, its about time to vote them all out.

A great neighborhood park for families and kids. I grew up with Duffy Field and so did my children. It is too important to lose.

I use this park weekly for outdoor activity. Why turn it to another football field when there are plenty of football fields already built under utilized

There is a much better way to alleviate the water issue. Find one! The neighborhood does not need a parking lot. It's not a small athletic field, not Foley Stadium! Keep it that way.

It's terrible that you would destroy our neighborhood park for a low use facility. Do not do this.

This is a great community park that should stay as it is. Please do not commandeer it and thus greatly limit community use.

Please retain one of the few open green spaces in our city, especially at this time..

When I was first informed that the city might spend 4.5 million on a practice field, I laughed. Why that money is not going towards improvements in the high school is outrages. I would fire every single person who even conjured up this asinine idea. Sports are nonetheless important, but spending that sum of money on the field when the high school is in its decrepit state is startling
