I am totally against this rapid rise in high density housing. This is changing the fabric of our city and putting lots of pressure on schools with know published plan to address it.

I am not in favor of rezoning this area. There will be too many apts and the area is already becoming congested and high flow of traffic.

The city should let the existing, unfinished and unfilled lease/rent projects settle first to determine if there is excess demand there. If high-end monthly charges work, maybe that’s OK but if not, these will eventually degrade into average or below average properties. Us all of the other green space, etc positions already provided.

There are enough apartments in that area. We need to save the park.

This is not an Urban core area!!! The outdoor spaces here and amphitheater are necessary beautiful and serene places for us residents. ... build apartments at the mall!!!

I oppose the rezoning request. I want the original vision for Downtown Chesterfield kept alive!

Time to limit building of more apartment buildings.

Why would you build an apartment building there?! That's right next to a park where we take the family to be outdoors and relax. Why don't you tear down that empty mall and build a town center with apartments and retail/restaurants? You have all that unused space right around the corner, build there first before destroying even more open space.

Central Park and the beauty and tranquility it offers to the public would be seriously marred by such a high density development so close by. I ask that Chesterfield’s Planning Commission, City Council Subcommittee on Planning and Public Works and the City Council at large reject this zoning application as inconsistent with community standards. The development of Central Park has been a great benefit to our community, and its emphasis on native plants and more naturalistic spaces serves as a great example to residents and businesses in our community. We need to retain this emphasis in future planning, particularly in the areas so close to the park.

No more apartments

This is in the middle of a park and a recreation area and would, not only look horrible, would ruin the beauty of the park

This is such a bad idea for this parcel. It would destroy the beauty of all that has been created. Any why would some one want to live so close to the amphitheater? Just bad all around.

Can someone PLEASE do something with the hunk of land/ abandoned mall? Let’s re-develop that so we have an area for families to shop.... Nordstrom?? Or like St Charles mixed development. Saddens me that there is NO place for kids to go to hang out!?!

Keep the downtown vision. NO apartments!!

Wow! They have already destroyed the beauty of chesterfield parkway by the amount of trees that have been cut down and building going on . SO many displaced animals and wildlife due to the huge amount of clearing and building going on. So sad ! Absolutely not necessary to build and use this piece of land !

Please leave chesterfield park alone. We like space, land, open air for our families to play. We do not want another apartment complex in the area.

Take the mall. Save the Park.

This area needs to remain as is. Why not use the massive space called "Chesterfield Mall" ?? Rezone that area to residential....that way this will not sit empty and become an eye sore. It can be repurposed while allowing the downtown area to remain quiet and family friendly.

I’d like it all to be left open space. Too much being built up already. Definetly do not want more apartments!!
