I work in Chesterfield and do not like this idea at all. There are plenty of empty spaces. No need to keep building buildings when others need to be occupied first.

We currently do not live in Chesterfield but will be moving there in June. This is a TERRIBLE use of property and will be a HORRIBLE eyesore. Please do not approve the change in land use!!

I oppose the way tree areas are being replaced by
Large building projects. Very sad that chesterfield
Will lose much of its charm to bring big money to the area. I don’t like the trend Chesterfield is heading. Progress is good but not at the expense of our areas of beauty. We don’t need more apartments or parking lots on forested land.

That area is used and enjoyed by the residents of Chesterfield. To populate it with rows of densely packed apartments would be a travesty and a disaster to the dynamics of our thriving and friendly city.

Save the statues! This request for a re-zoning is ridiculous! There are so many apartments in the area now. Lou Sachs is turning over in his grave. Do not let his vision of this wonderful city be destroyed.

This is a great piece of property. Apartments are fine but it must remain a green and family friendly space. Chesterfield has a lot of development going on right now where the environment the last thing being consider, if at all. We can do better than this plan.

Enough with all the apartments! Let’s learn from our past mistakes and not build too much of the same thing. This area is for outdoor space, not high priced apartments.

This is something I grew up going to. I always show my out of town friends the man coming out of the ground as I called it. Don’t tear down something that people life to build things we already have.

They have already taken away part of that park area due to apartments. Use the mall lot. It is ghost town. Leave the park alone.
