Please continue having football at your school. Christian teens have so few opportunities to be a light in this dying world. This may force the young men having the talent to play at another level not to consider your school.

Coach Moyer was offered a contract that significantly reduced his pay, doubled his teaching schedule and removed his ability to control the funds he raises for football. He turned down that contract for obvious reasons. He has never asked for anything more than a renewal of his existing contract.

Mr. Moyer is not only a great coach to his high school players, but also sets a great example for the youth children as well. Although he did not personally coach my 11 year old sons 5 and 6th grade combined team, he did give great words or encouragement and made it a point to make every kid feel special. He is an outstanding leader, coach, and person in all. He is what Dayton Christian stands for...

Agreed that Coach Moyer has a huge, positive influence on this group of young men. That's why I hope that he sees the love and concern mentioned here and chooses to accept the contract that was offered by Dayton Christian to him which is in alignment with what is reasonable for the school to afford. Thank you DCS for choosing to ask him back next year and for looking at the whole picture. Hoping Coach does too! Coach - DCHS wants you back. What will you do? It's your decision.

If DC truly "cared for" our kids and wanted to really "partner with parents" they would see the huge, devastating impact losing Coach Moyer would be. Let's show the kids and parents what you really mean by the phrases you use so often! Keep Coach Moyer!!!
