Many tourists, motorcyclists, and residents use these scenic roads to travel through our community and experience our area, and there are several better options which could be chosen.
We have seen many accidents and several deaths along Cave Creek Road as a result of the many small intersections without signals. Adding large power lines and poles along this route will only make this area more dangerous for residents and visitors.
Please sign our petition to keep Ashler Hills and Cave Creek Roads as scenic and safe as they are today, and preserve the rural feel of our community for present and future generations.

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained so quickly. This is entirely because of the way you have all cared enough to look out for our local roads. I honestly never imagined so many people would join me in this effort.

65 feet?? That is way too tall. Totally destroys the rural vibe of North Scottsdale. Fix the intersections first before worrying about ugly power lines.
Used to ride my bike out there all the time. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. Please find another spot for this garbage.
STOP APS NOW. We moved here to get away from the industrial look. Put them underground or go somewhere else!
Ridiculous idea. That road is already dangerous enough with the traffic and blind spots. Adding giant metal poles is just asking for more accidents.
Those towers are gonna be a huge eyesore. Keep our scenery the way it is instead of ruining the view for everyone living out here.

Do not build these towers here! Ruining our neighborhood for a power line is totally unnecessary.
