APS is considering installing a high voltage power line with 65 foot tall towers along Cave Creek Road south of the Carefree Highway and then West on Ashler Hills Road.
Many tourists, motorcyclists, and residents use these scenic roads to travel through our community and experience our area, and there are several better options which could be chosen.
We have seen many accidents and several deaths along Cave Creek Road as a result of the many small intersections without signals. Adding large power lines and poles along this route will only make this area more dangerous for residents and visitors.
Please sign our petition to keep Ashler Hills and Cave Creek Roads as scenic and safe as they are today, and preserve the rural feel of our community for present and future generations.
