Preserve Vital Agricultural Land at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo

Keep learning by doing motto alive!

Critical that we continue to research and understand how we can raise animals holistically. Without land, we can not do this

I find it shameful that this is even a consideration at a university with such an amazing ag department. Bad choice.

A vital program for future farmers & ag production...

To remove these lands, in their current use, from the campus would be an unforgivable crime to future students and the community. Cal Poly is what it is because of its rich history and tradition in these programs. Stop trying to change it.

Alumni Animal Science BS 2012. The best part about cal poly is their " learn by doing" motto. Without ag land, ag majors cannot learn the same way as other majors are able to.

Please do not take away from these great programs that this college offers. These are so important to this state and the agricultural that is so vital to this state.

Cal Poly should continue to lead the way in preserving and improving agricultural practices in California. Please don't decrease the emphasis on ag programs.

My grandfather, Harold O. Wilson, devoted his life's work to Cal Poly and post-secondary education in California. He would be extremely disappointed in this move to minimize the "learn by doing" philosophy of Cal Poly, as well as the agriculture teaching history of the school. I urge the school to keep this land available for the Diary Program.

Cal Poly is an ag college. What are they thinking?

I believe it is crucial to continue this program and continue to designate the necessary land to accommodate the needs.

I ask that you keep always in mind that agriculture is exceptionally important. Please retain our ag land at Cal Poly.

Pomona is taking away our horse pastures for housing. Just because we lost our fight, doesn't mean you guys can't win yours.

Cal Poly Admin should get a clue. Stop thoughtlessly changing Cal Poly's strengths and traditions!

Save Cal Poly!! As an alumni, I am sad to see what is happening there. I am seriously pushing my son to look at Fresno State. They are making their AG facilities a showplace and keeping it integrated with the campus. The whole reason people don't respect agriculture is because we keep removing it from their sights. So, so sad!!!!

I fully support and stand by Cal Poly master plan for the next 20 years.
