Massachusetts along with the rest of New England for that matter have been promoting a progessive youth and high school wrestling program in recent years that is finally getting competitive with the rest of the country. Taking away this D1 program destroys our local athlete's dreams of pursing a solid educational & athletic college career here in Boston. We will be taking 2 steps back after all the hard work parents, coaches, and most importantly the young men & women have put in.

PLEASE...SAVE BU WRESTLING!!! Amazing coach/es and wrestlers!! It's obvious that it would be a HUGE mistake to end such a beloved sport (no other like it!) at such a great institution!! It would be a travesty!!

Some of the greatest minds and spirits I have ever encountered were through my time spent with BUWrestling. I am embarrassed that my alma mater would tuck tail and abandon one of their greatest assets. With only minimal support the wrestling team could be outstanding, yet that support was continuously absent during my tenure as a BostonU wrestler. As a coach of mine once said, "You can't expect full-time results with part-time commitment". We poured our hearts out wearing those terrier logos, just to see them sold to the highest bidder is insulting.

Step over the line to fight back against unfairness by donating time & money to provide opportunity to the middle and lower classes of our society. With every letter, you are doing the right thing to maintain the guiding principles that are being overlooked by the current leadership.

When I was in high school my coach took us to watch Colorado University wrestle. I am certain without having seen college wrestling I would never have gone to college. My life would be much different. Please continue the fine program at Boston University.
