I think the reasons given to terminate this program are wrong, misguided, and outrageous. The AD should be ashamed of himself.

As the father of a high school wrestler in louisiana, I think it's a shame that this sport is the firest to get thrown under the bus every time there is financial troubles at a school, or the the women's groups scream about not having enough women sports(title9). It's time to take it back! Terrier wrestlers, we got your back in New Orleans, keep up the fight!

Why eliminate a program that has been so successful in mnay different ways (i.e. academics, leadership, pride). Makes no sense to me or my daughter who is a student at BU.

Please reinstate a sport that attracts atheletes who are 1st generation college students and diverse. If the sport is reinstated, then the Smiley gift will fund the wrestling program at the university.
