This site is able to make more money in one year than 7 executive homes. Iconic venues are being just ruined. The tourist value alone will accommodate the historic value of keeping it alive. This smacks of Neville Hendricks & Pegasus.

It is typical that another builder-developer could get their hands on this most important site. Teddington has gone the same way. THERE IS A LACK OF STUDIO CAPACITY in and around London - without the studios the industry itself dies - or goes to Ireland or somewhere.....

Hammer films have been a big part of my life. I love all the classic films and still appreciate their artistry. Please preserve the studio. So many historic studio lots have been torn down and real movie aficionados have nowhere to go for a real connection to history.

Restoration and preservation as a tourist attraction would be preferable to redevelopment. Not only was my all-time favourite movie (The Rocky Horror Picture Show) shot there in the autumn of 1974, but also many of the Hammer horror classics that I grew up with. I cannot stress how much of a tragedy it would be to lose this place. This is our British film heritage we're talking about. We should treasure it and be proud of it.

Some of the world's most iconic films have been filmed at Bray Studios and the surrounding area. I cannot even begin to explain what a SHAME it would be to demolish the history here especially for a "luxury housing development". There's so much that can be done to utilize Bray Studios and keep it alive.

It has been used in the making of a number of wonderful movies, and it would be such a shame not to preserve it.
