An important part of any town. Many pensioners, in addition to local businesses, require this service. Travelling further afield is not an option for some.

I bank with HSBC and I'm moving my business into Bewdley in December 2015. For this branch to close will be a terrible blow.

Why does Bewdley have to suffer. Kidderminster and Stourport have both kept their HSBC banks. They also kept their bark lays banks. We are going to loose our fire station. It seems Bewdley people don't seem to matter. There will be no bank in Bewdley for businesses or personal banking. The elderly are losing out on their independence. The other point to make is the town will loose two more cash machines. That's 3 gone now. The only one left if at the tests express. This is to be used by all the residents and the numerous visitors to the town. On a bank holiday I don't think it will last a day before running out. Someone in Whitehall needs to stand up to these banks. As they are ripping the heart out of our town!

So many people and businesses in the community use this bank daily.
It will affect the elderly and those without transport especially. It is Bewdleys only bank!!

Why not at the very least leave the cash machines and a safe deposit box and service them every morning?

Having been a customer of HSBC for many years, I was saddened and angry that the bank was closing in Bewdley. I feel especially sorry for the local businesses and the elderly who rely on this branch.
It is part of the community and as such should remain open. Bewdley is a beautiful town and the people are losing their social hubs thus destroying part of the town.

Bewdley needs a bank - for traders, tourism and us locals. Museum donations are banked there - queues will be a mile long at the Post Office
