Shops have already shut due to the loss of Barclays Bank in the town. With HSBC shutting the rest of the independent traders will be forced to close. The loss of the local fire station is again ruining the prospects for a once thriving town.

I'm disgusted with this announcement. If they close The Bewdley branch then I will close my account with HSBC

I started banking with this branch when l first left school (in 1970) It is still my "local" branch and l would like to keep it that way.

HSBC's decision to close their Bewdley branch will be a nail in the coffin for the town. What town of a population of 10,000 doesn't have a bank? This decision will cut to the heart of the community, businesses, the elderly and most likely the poor and vulnerable will suffer most for this corporate attack on it's own customers.

It's essential to have one bank in Bewdley. I thought HSBC were supposed to be a caring bank all over the World. Obviously not in Bewdley. Please reconsider. It could be disastrous for local business.

This is outrageous!!! I have banked with them for over 30 yes because if the service they give. If it closes I will close my accounts .

I do not even bank with HSBC but I know a lot of people who would struggle to get to Kidderminster. A town without at least one bank ! Terrible! Tourists visit Bewdley on a regular basis, business. There will b one cashpoint in the town which doesn't always work or if ur able bodied you can walk over the bridge to the garage which may I add dosent always work.
