At the very least we need a banking hub, as some people have previously commented - we cannot lose all banking facilities in Bewdley.

If the car parking wasn't so expensive more people would come into Bewdley to use the bank etc. First hour parking should be free or small charge.

moved to HSBC in August thinking that as I get older it would be a good idea to bank near to my home, as I would'nt have to travel far

Barclays has gone causing great inconvenience and costs to customers and non customers alike. This has caused an increase in fuel costs, bus or taxi fares, valuable time and the resultant pollution from the above.HSBC was a godsend. However if this goes as well the above impacts could be doubled or even trebled. Who wants to use the cash machines in the evening at the coop or tesco where often people are harrassed by drunks etc. This also impact on visitor footfall affecting local businesses and such places like the Museum and St Georges hall. We shall become a town of charity shops and boarded up shop fronts with pretty pictures in Windows. Act now and save our town.

As others have said, HSBC now has a monopoly in the town. Why not make use of it? No competition would seem to be ideal to for most businesses, so why not for HSBC?

Very short-sighted behaviour by HSBC . Been a customer for 34 years and will seriously consider changing bank if it closes. They can't use the excuse that it is lack of business as it is always busy! HSBC think again!

Two vital services for our town and surrounding rural area. The fire station is vital as we live near a dense forest where fire crews need to be on hand to deal quickly with any blaze and they are also a back up team for Kidderminster.
The bank is vital to our town. Not only to personal customers but the local business in the town, the farming community and also the tourists who flock into the town from the Severn Valley Railway and West Midlands Safari Park, the Museum to name but a few. With only one cash point, when the Bank closes, will be detrimental to our town

the HSBC bank in Kidderminster isn't wheelchair accessible - the bank in in Bewdley is very accessible

To close this one and only bank in a little market town is nothing short of an absolute disgrace! The one and only cash machine after January 22nd will be at a petro station with very restricted parking and the nearest bank will be over 5 miles away in either Stourport or Kidderminster. I am a septuagenarian and I drive but many who are retired but are much younger do not. This is an idiotic choice of the closure of a valuable and necessary facility in a town of this size and needs an urgent revue as to the consequences of such a move and the reasons that it is even being considered anyway.

Closing banks is a disaster for any town, it's businesses and it's people. There are too few banks on too many high streets making life increasingly difficult for everyone. A bank is most often chosen by it's presence in a town! HSBC could loose customers and credibility as a caring, customer orientated financial institution. Surely as the only remaining bank in Bewdley it will gain increased business and ratings from it's customers!

this bank is very important to the town of Bewdley. Why should the residents of Bewdley have to travel miles for banking. HSBC should be aware that that there are people who do not have the facilities for internet banking.

We need a financial institution of some kind! Why let Tesco be the only cash point outside on the town side of the river? Forcing local businesses to bank outside the town may invite them to trade there too!

If HSBC need to save money and close a bank in the Wyre Forest they should close their branch in Stourport which has 2 other banks - Barclays & TSB. They could also scale back opening hours and services but cash machines and the ability to pay in and get change is vital for the local economy in Bewdley.
