San Diego spoke out once against this very same monstrosity of a project and won! We will speak out again and make sure that our historic bridge continues to be preserved.
Don't do this. Balboa place is where I used to go as a child, and it's so rich in history and beauty. It would be a shame to make changes to it.
How many times do we have to vote this stupid project down? Park at the old Navy Hospital! Ride the shuttle!
Don't ruin the bridge's aesthetics! Use the money to restore the museums in the park instead!
This is a horribly misguided plan that will tear away at the soul of the park, fail to address the numerous existing problems in the park, and waste valuable capital improvement funds in the process. Who on earth does this plan benefit? Certainly not the people of San Diego, nor Balboa Park itself!
Don't do it!!
Shameful we can't trust our elected officials to protect not only our local but NATIONAL historic resources and have to resort to this (again!) Vote them all OUT!

Cabrillo Bridge is an icon of the park. It is almost inextricable with Museum of Man and the our newly reopened California Tower. As a native of this city, I really want you to know that Cabrillo bridge is part of San Diego's identity. Find a way to keep it as it is.
