I've lived within 1/2 mile of Ashbridge Park for 45 years. I've pushed my children and their children in their strollers and on the swings. I promise to do whatever becomes necessary to uphold and maintain the wishes of Mrs. Ashbridge as she stated in her Will - that her property is to remain as a public park - not a public SCHOOL!

I walk my dog in Ashbridge Park and am opposed to using this location to build another school. Parks serve a purpose too! I don't even think that the case has been made that there is a need to build another school. Enrollment numbers are cyclical. By the time you build another school, enrollment will be down.

There are at least three Catholic school buildings currently empty in LM township. Why don’t they look at those buildings as potential sites? Why not renovate empty buildings and give them life again? Don’t take a beautiful and loved park away. This is just shameful.

I have been walking and running in this beautiful park for 28 years. It should stay as a park

I am strongly opposed to using Ashbridge for anything other than its current use.

All School Board and Commissioner candidates should make a statement on use of Ashbridge prior to the election. No statement = no vote.

Ashbridge Park is a treasure in our community which should be preserved according to the donor's wishes. There must be better choices.

The benefit of open space to the health and well-being of the community cannot be overstated!

Once open space is built on, it is gone forever.

This park and playground must be protected from development. Open space is essential to all residents of Lower Merion, especially our children and grandchildren

Breaking the Barnes will was wrong and breaking the Ashbridge will is equally wrong.

Sad that you would even consider filling in any open space in the area, seeing that there is so little of it.

Using this park as anything other than its intended purpose as open space would be one more outrageous act of local government overreach and corruption.

I grew up in the Ashbridge House, and so probably value the park more than anyone. You can't just change someone's will!
