My son and his wife are considering moving back to Bryn Mawr from San Francisco. They love Ashbridge and would like to live nearby.

This is a beautiful park enjoyed by so many. I don't see how you can break a deed... that just seems so wrong on many levels

We'll be left with no green space. Perhaps less building of multi family buildings should have been considered.

Spent many happy hours at Ashbrige Park with my children. Would be unfortunate to deprive future generations of such a beautiful, charmed ,peaceful spot. So few left in Lower Merion!

I am strongly opposed to breaking a will to use this space for something for which it was not intended. Also, Lower Merion has too few parks as it is, especially of the nature of Ashbridge Park.

This park should be preserved as deeded. So many fond park memories have been made at Ashbridge, and so many park memories will never have an opportunity to be made if Ashbridge is gone.

To use breaking the will of Dr. Barnes as a precedent to negating the honorable intentions of Mrs. Ashbridge to deed her property as she wanted which has benefited our township for so many years is another example of things getting out of hand. This park is enjoyed by so many and we need to stop thinking that wills mean nothing and it is ok to just decide to go around them every time some one thinks they have a better idea than those who designated their property or heritage as they wished. Find another suitable school property somewhere else.

Its a horrible thought to use Ashbridge Park as the site for Lower Merion school district. I grew up with that park and so did my children. Please preserve this park!

Ashbridge is so special to our community and we need open space to preserve the charm of lower merion and have a recreational outdoor space for residents. As a life long resident of LM I can appreciate the challenge and think there must be a better solution. How about Catholic Schools that closed that already have the school infrastructure? This would allow schools that are more manageable in size which is another keystone of our area. There would be a cost saving as well which I am sure would be appreciated. Communities are build on schools and parks - let's make the best decision for all residents.

I oppose altering the deed for Ashbridge Park. This park should be preserved as is. It is a wonderful place for all family members.

I’m new to the area, but I frequently go to this park to enjoy the beauty and serenity while walking. It disgusts me to know that the township would break the wishes in Tje donors will. It was a gift to the community. Is this how you are going to do when people leave such gifts in their will? There is enough schools already here.

This is a park which we , our children and our grandchildren have enjoyed and continue to enjoy on a daily basis . We believe the Ashbridge Trust should not be broken . Our neighborhood already has Harriton High School . We cannot enjoy this space but on a limited basis . We respect the high school's rules but feel to lose our park would be a burden for us all . I believe that a huge price will be paid in terms of lost tax revenue when you continue to compromise residents of this community .
