Degradation of open space is intolerable. Blatant disregard for a donor's intent is detestable.

Absolutely against any development of Ashbridge Park, Montgomery and Ashbridge roads are too congested now. Also, all the adjoining roads feeding Ashbridge are tied up with local traffic, BMC, Shipley and Phoebe Anna Thorne traffic. Please stop this ludicrous discussion!!!!!!!

I and my children enjoyed the charm and beauty of Ashbridge Park since the 1950's. I would hate to see that lost to future generations.

Ashbridge is a crown jewel of the Lower Merion park system. Even considering to replace this beautiful setting shows an upsetting disregard for the community which will likely affect property values generally but most importantly rob the residents of one of our greatest treasures.

The term 'outrageous' is way overused these days but I'm going to use it anyway! This is an outrageous attempt to break Mrs. Ashbridge's will and remove this last vestige of open space in Lower Merion Township.Don't do it!!!

This lovely property serves the community in so many ways from tennis, to the playground, to the walking trail for people and dogs, and the little hill for sledding for tots, over looked by the pretty stone farmhouse. It should stay as a green lung at that busy intersection. I am very much against it being "taken" by the school district against the wishes of the benefactor who willed it to Lower Merion. The School Board should not have sold their land on Great Springs Rd.

This special park was full of my childhood memories. Catching crayfish in the summers and sledding the big hill on snowy days. It’s an amazing park and we should honor the wishes and deed.
