The Administration, the Staff, and the volunteers all work tirelessly and selflessly to give its students the academics necessary, the encouragement to continue excellently and to stay inspired in life and studies. Amandla Charter School is a necessary resource for the Community and the students it is there to serve.

I was fortunate enough to work with Amandla through its tutoring program for several years, and I experienced first-hand the passion of the faculty and staff, and eagerness of the students to continue to develop. I know Amandla to be an inspiring community and a place that is committed to continued growth and improvement.

Amandla is such a warm, inviting and family oriented place. Where kids who would other wise would not have had the experience of traveling out of state and was able experience history up close and personal is something a child will never FORGET

Amandala does incredible work, and as someone who used to teach After School Matters in Englewood, I have seen how important it is for neighborhood kids to not only have a place to learn, but a place to feel safe. Please don't close this school!

Amandla is such a great place with such high expectations. I first heard about this place when it was only and idea on a piece of paper,which gets children dreaming about college and how this educational environment encourages youth and prepare them to have awesome future. This school from and idea to a reality has been such a positive Light in the Englewood community really taking on the role as the village raising up these children.

I believe it would be a terrible mistake to close Amandla. The teachers and staff are dedicated and passionate about helping children get a quality education.

My Gosh - The heart & soul of our future are in our schools! Let not take that lightly and remember the effects of closing & opening of school goes beyond a matrix & a "rating policy"!!!
